A network of cleanrooms

By cooperating within the Nano Connect Scandinavia framework, Chalmers MC2, DTU Danchip and Lund Nano Lab exchange knowledge and increase their competetiveness.

Access to cleanrooms and research facilities is crucial both for companies wanting to produce prototypes and for scientists exploring new ideas.

The Nano Connect Scandinavia Cleanroom network was established in 2009. Representatives from the major cleanrooms in the regions met during the COMS2009 conference in Copenhagen, on an initiative from Nano Connect Scandinavia. In a couple of follow-up meetings they decided to go forward with the collaboration.

Today, Nano Connect Scandinavia provides financial support for an employee exchange program where skilled technicians and managers from the MC2 Nanofabrication laboratory, DTU Danchip and Lund nano lab spend time at each others facilities, learning new processes and sharing insights, to the benefit of all users - in industry and at the universities.
