Nanophotonics workshop on future industrial challenges
If you are interested in solving future challenges with people from various industries, academia or organizations and you think that nanotechnology or photonics could be part of this solution, the Nanophotonics workshop is the place to be.
We are inviting you to join us for an afternoon of inspirational discussions where you can experience how rewarding it can be to work together across traditional borders on a common challenge.
It is our experience that people with different backgrounds and perspectives can come up with better ideas and solutions together, than by themselves.
Set up
The workshop will consist of different themes:
Efficient Energy
DONG Energy Challenge
Medical equipment
Siemens Challenge
Smart materials
Volvo Technology Challenge
Sensors for fluids
Chr. Hansen Challenge
In each theme a specific challenge will be presented by a major industrial company – see the links above – that will be the focal point of the group sessions.
Goal
The goal of the workshop is to create a number of ideas for future challenges in specific industries, and highlight the possibilities that emerge from collaboration between companies and researchers. In order to reach these goals and generally heighten the quality of the workshop, the group sessions will be professionally facilitated to ensure an inspirational and forthcoming process.
Participants
We welcome nanotech researchers, photonics researchers, private and public companies with an interest in nanotechnology and/or photonics, organizations and public bodies with an interest the area.
