Ph.D. position in nano chemistry
Open Ph.D. position in “Nanoscale Electrocatalysis for Chemical and Biological Sciences”, at DTU Chemistry.
As part of a new interdisciplinary research programme jointly between the NanoScience Center at the University of Copenhagen and DTU Chemistry, a Ph.D. position, “Nanoscale Electrocatalysis for Chemical and Biological Sciences”, in DTU Chemistry’s NanoChemistry Group is open.
Electrocatalysis is essential in energy storage/conversion and chemical/biological sensing. The project aims at designed metallic and non-metallic nanostructures (particles, wires, flowers) as electrocatalysts in molecular and biomolecular electron transfer. Objectives are:
1) New nanoparticle synthesis.
2) Size-dependent single-particle electrocatalysis.
3) Fabrication of chemical sensors and biosensors.
