Insplorion AB secures SEK 4M in financing round

Among the investors in Chalmers spin-off company Insplorion are Innovationsbron AB and Helge Alten, former CEO of Volvo Cars in North America.

Insplorion AB (former CleanSense) is based on research by professor Bengt Kasemo and his collegues at Chalmers University of Technology. The company produces a chip that uses the measurement principle Localized Surface Plasmon Resonance (LSPR), making it possible to study interactions between nanomaterials and gases/liquids. Potential areas for this technology are catalysis, biosensing and hydrogen storage.
