Nanotechnology on display
The newly opened permanent exhibition Smart! at Malmö museums includes a section on nanoscience- and technology.
Smart! highlights technological innovation and scientific breakthroughs that have come out of Scania, the southernmost province of Sweden. The nano portion of the exhibition aims to explain the field in layman´s terms. It has been produced in collaboration with Carina Fasth and her colleagues at the Nanometer Structure Consortium at Lund University, and Line Lundfald of Nano Connect Scandinavia.
Apart from nanotechnology, Smart! includes a wide variety of innovations – successes as well as failures - from Tetra Pak´s packaging solutions to Bluetooth technology, the nicotine chewing gum and the traditional Scanian pasty “Spettekaka”.
